How we helped MindPetal do a brand refresh?
Our first client was MindPetal, a consultancy delivering complex, enterprise solutions supporting federal customers.
The Yellow Factor team redefined their business and provided a new face to their brand. Taking care of every aspect throughout the process — from organizing different brand activities to gathering inputs and feedbacks to performing several iterations — The TYF team helped transition MindPetal into an all-new different world, where work style meets professionalism and where clients can always count on a personalized service.
The MindPetal customer experience was personalized every step of the way. Our team initially collaborated with the business executives and employees to study about their amazing enterprise-level projects and customer engagements, while getting a bird’s eye view of their current operations in action.
A branding activity was initially conducted with the MindPetal team to understand about the business values and culture. Results from surveys were taken from the team to know their interests. These artifacts then led to creating a mood board of the Company for inspiration. Images were drawn and pinned for logos, color combinations, illustrations, and graphics. This reflected what style and design features MindPetal was looking out for.
The first step was to refresh their logo to stay in line with the Company’s brand identity.


The second step was to create letterheads, business cards, custom branded gears and PPT templates based on the fixed colors and standards for the business. This was an iterative process and the final product was delivered making sure every need was met.


The third step was to revamp the Employee handbook. One of the main concerns was that it was too wordy and that it had lot of information in it. The content was evaluated and skimmed down to having included only the necessary information giving it an allover fresh look with a magazine layout.


This enabled the next stage in its vision: to revamp the Company website to bridge the physical and digital worlds. The complete digital and physical platform of MindPetal was transformed in the most efficient and indispensable manner. A simple site plan was initially created to organize different contents on the page. The homepage was created in a minimalistic style free of clutter communicating core information instantaneously. The visual hierarchy was kept in mind while designing the website as it helped display the content in an effective way.
